Structure of new type of economical and stable photocatalyst responsive to visible light

A new type of versatile, economical visible-light responsive photocatalyst has been developed by researchers at the University of Johannesburg. The three-ingredient photocatalyst is built from graphitic carbon nitride, a cup-shaped calixarene and a niobium-based MXene.
