A new type of versatile, economical visible-light responsive photocatalyst has been developed by researchers at the University of Johannesburg. The three-ingredient photocatalyst is built from graphitic carbon nitride, a cup-shaped calixarene and a niobium-based MXene. The study is published in Journal of Science: Advanced Materials and Devices at https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S246821792300062X
